[NEWS+VIDEO] miss A salutes for ‘High Cut’

miss A recently transformed into military girls for the October edition of ‘High Cut‘ magazine.
The photoshoot was named after the title track of their 2nd mini-album, ‘Breathe‘, and showcases each members’ smooth body lines and sexy charisma.
The most eye-catching member is Fei, who is looking powerful and sexy as she sports a voluminous hairstyle, while wearing boots that come up all the way to her thighs. Meanwhile, ‘Crazy’ Min sported long locks and can be seen wearing a revealing mini-dress, utilizing poses that emphasize her feminine body shape. Jia gives off the edgy, tough image with her all-black short hair, while maknae Suzy displays her rarely-seen sexy image, as she wears a sophisticated long black coat while rocking short, brown hair.
The full photo spread will be available in the October edition of ‘High Cut’, which will be released on the 27th.
Check out some of the pictures below.

[NEWS+VIDEO] U-Kiss reveals new version of “Shut Up!” MV

Earlier in the month, the boys of U-Kiss unveiled the MV for Shut Up! Unfortunately, the video was flagged by the Youtube community for being inappropriate to minors. The MV is currently only open to accounts that are verified to be 18 years or older.
With that in mind, U-KISS’s agency, NH Media uploaded a new version of the video earlier today on youtube. This new MV contains various new scenes so hopefully this won’t be flagged. Check it out below:

[NEWS] miss A Suzy’s ant waist
Last year, KARA’s Goo Hara shocked many with her tiny waist, earning her the nickname of “ant-waist.” Although this is no competition, miss A Suzy’s tiny waist has also attracted a lot of attention.
Recently, a picture of the maknae with a bare midriff was uploaded online. While Suzy looks adorable in her checkered button-up and khaki skirt, her waist size has gotten much attention.
Regarding her tiny waist, netizens said, “You are really skinny and pretty. So this must be an ant-waist”, “What do you eat… to be this skinny?”, and “Tell us your secret of how you got that body.”
Suzy’s waist is definitely comparable to Goo Hara’s ant-waist. Anyway, they both look fabulous!

[NEWS+VIDEOS] U-Kiss, 2AM, T-Max, FT Island, & Mighty Mouth Maknaes Get Their Revenge?

Forget Transformers & Sith Lords, it’s the revenge of the maknaes!
On SBS’s new variety show program Idol Maknae Rebellion, the youngest members of various popular groups like Jinwoon of 2AM, Yunhwa of T-Max, Seunghyun of F.T. Island, Dongho of U-Kiss andShorry J of Mighty Mouth will be teaming up to reveal their talents to the world.
Hosted by gagman Yoo Seyoon, Idol Maknae Rebellion gives idol group maknaes the opportunity to step out from the shadow of their group leaders and unleash their talents for the world to see. Furthermore, this variety show also trains its guests in various fields so that they will have skills to show in a variety of programs. For example, the maknaes’ first mission was to sing like famous ballad singerJo Sung Mo. Talk about high expectation
cr. tmaxlover2One of the staff members of this program expressed, “This is the first time that maknaes can receive this type of attention outside of their groups. They clearly put in their full efforts in the filming. Our producers launched Idol Maknae Rebellion with the goal of making these guests the #1 most sought after guests in their future program activities.”
Although these boys seem to be buffing up to expand their popularity, I think the kpop scenes loves maknae members already. Regardless, it’s great to see love for the male maknaes after all of the new friendships we’ve seen bloom between girl groups both new and old.
Idol Maknae Rebellion is set to air on November 7 at 10PM KST. With such a unique premise, I’m sure many fans can’t help but be excited to see these boys have their own time in the spotlight. Plus, getting to see your favorite idols in army gear definitely scores some brownie points!

[NEWS] U-KISS on their album, dating & winning
From their deep gazes to their modern choreography, everything about U-KISS’s latest comeback seems to show off how manly the boys have become. The group first earned their ‘Strong Idol’ nickname after with their “Man Man Ha Ni” promotion and has returned even stronger than ever with their 4th mini-album, “Break Time.”
- Your group earned a lot of popularity with hook songs such as “Man Man Ha Ni” and “Bingeul Bingeul.” Is your comeback song another hook song?
Kibum: “They may all be hook songs but they each have their own differences. For the first two, our choreography was easy for the public to follow while our comeback features harder moves. We focused on giving a more fantastic performance this time around.”
- The last part of your choreography leaves a lasting impression.
Dongho: “It’s the part where we drop our handkerchiefs. This is a secret, but we pick them up right away after the song ends. We don’t have a separate staff that picks them.”
- Do you have any episodes to share regarding the production of your album?
Kevin: “Dongho almost died while doing the photo shoot for our album jacket pictures. We were in an abandoned factory for the shoot and Dongho was up on the 2nd floor. All of a sudden, the floor broke and his foot fell through. He could’ve fallen from the 2nd floor if he wasn’t careful.”
- It seems all of you have worked out for this album.
Soohyun: “We didn’t diet to lose weight. We exercised consistently in order to get muscles. Eli especially lost about 10kg in one month after he started working out. It hasn’t been that long for me since I just started, but I lost about 3kg as well.”
- What does it mean to live life as an idol in this generation?
Alexander: “It’s an extreme and special honor. I’m just thankful that we receive so much love. However, as much as there are positive things about the life style, there are just as many things we must give up. It’s difficult for us to casually go out for a drink or even date since we’re idols.”
- Do you currently live in a dorm?
Kibum: “At the time our group was formed, our members were too young so we didn’t dorm together. Our agency also felt that there’d be too many cultural differences since most of our members are from overseas. We all leave for work from our own homes.”
- How do you start your mornings?
Kevin: “I use public transportation or my parents will sometimes drive me to work. Kiseop uses the subway but doesn’t like it because he thinks it’s embarrassing when people notice who he is.”
- Are you interested in any female idols?
Alexander: “It changes every week. For this week, miss A? (laughter).”
- Did you ever date after debuting?
Soohyun: “I have. I’m dating my fans (laughter). Honestly, I’ve never dated after we debuted. Whenever I see female idols, I do want to get their numbers or get closer, but I never move those thoughts into actions.”
- What is your most memorable performance?
Dongho: “Our recent concert in the Philippines was the most memorable. About 38,000 fans came to see us. All of us were so nervous at the time, but just the thought of performing in a concert made just for us made our hearts swell. We had an extremely fun time with our fans, I almost cried when they shouted for an encore at the end.”
- Do you have any plans for a concert in Korea?
Dongho: “We don’t, for now. We’re planning a Japanese concert in December. Maybe it’s because we’ve promoted more overseas, but we’re more accepted by the international audience than in Korea. I think we’ll be holding a Korean concert next year.”
- You’ve never won #1 yet. Does it disappoint you?
Kibum: “It is disappointing. There are some groups that win #1 even a month after they debut. It’s sometimes embarrassing not having won anything up to this point, but it makes us more determined to try harder than ever. We hope to win someday, please give us your love.”
